Almond wine is a wine made from a blend of white grapes of local vines, mainly cultivated in the areas of Marsala and Mazara del Vallo, to which almond aroma is added.
With a yellow color and a persistent and soft aroma, it is a discovery for all those who love sweet wines but, above all, for lovers of almonds. The sweet and velvety taste that leaves in the mouth at the first taste is its winning factor, is the reason why it will be mandatory to take another sip.
At the opening of the bottle quickly reaches the nose its delicate and elegant smell, but present, of almond that makes irresistible this wine that is a Sicilian specialty to try and taste, not to miss the goodness of this wine.
The wine flavored with almond goes well with all almond desserts such as, for example, marzipan biscuits typical in Sicily or other dishes enriched with almonds. It also goes well with other desserts and, a very tasty thing you can try to do, is to put it over ice cream.
Its main characteristic is that it is preserved in an excellent way even after several years from the opening. This storage is given by the alcohol inside, 16.5% of alcohol content, which guarantees a better keeping to the wine.
