Cremovo is a typical Sicilian alcoholic drink, often used as an aperitif or dessert. It is a liqueur wine enriched with egg yolk, sugar and aromas. It is a traditional product, much appreciated for its sweetness and creaminess. Our winery produces a version of Cremovo that reflects the quality and tradition of the region.
The base of Cremovo is Marsala wine, a fortified wine typical of Sicily. Marsala is known for its rich and complex flavor, resulting from aging in wooden barrels.

The egg yolk gives the Cremovo its characteristic creaminess and a golden yellow color.
Adding sugar increases the sweetness of the drink, while aromas, which may include vanilla or spices, further enrich the gustatory profile. Cremovo has a rich and complex aromatic bouquet, with notes of vanilla, caramel and sweet spices.

On the palate, Cremovo is sweet and velvety, with a creamy texture and a persistent flavor. Sweetness is balanced by the structure of Marsala, which adds depth and complexity.

This flavored wine is perfect as a dessert wine, combined with traditional Sicilian desserts such as cannoli, cassata or almond biscuits.
– It can also be served as an aperitif, perhaps accompanied by mature cheeses or cold cuts, to create an interesting contrast between sweet and salty.

– It is often used in confectionery to enrich desserts and creams, thanks to its texture and unique flavor.
– Cremovo should be served fresh, preferably between 10 and 12 ºC, to fully appreciate its aromatic complexity and creaminess. It can be served in small dessert glasses or dessert wine glasses.
